Corporate Comfort

Google reports there are 2.3 billion Christians on the earth. 

Let’s just say that only ½ are true believers, giving us the new total to 1 billion 1 hundred and fifty million (1,150,000,000) Christians on Earth.

Matthew 7:21-“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. ²² On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name, and do many miracles in your name?’ ²³ Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you lawbreakers!

Now, let’s just say that only ½ of those belivers are praying God’s Will.

That leaves 575 million (575,000,000) Christians on earth that are true believers and praying God’s will.

James 4:3-You ask and don’t receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

1^st John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that he hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked of him.

Now Let’s just say that only ½ of those believers are praying at the same time you are praying. 

That leaves (287,500,000) two hundred and eighty seven million five hundred thousand  people who are true believers, praying God’s will and praying the same time you are praying.

1Thessalonians 5:16-22 -Rejoice always, ¹⁷ pray constantly, ¹⁸ give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. ¹⁹ Don’t stifle the Spirit. 

So then ball park figure, each night you pray, around 287,500,000 people are praying with you.

That is somehow comforting. 

I’m not praying alone. 

I have at the least 287.5 million (two hundred eighty-seven million five hundred thousand) Christians praying with me at the same time I am praying. 

Praying for the body of Christ.  Praying for healing. Praying that a lost world would find this amazing Savior, Jesus Christ that I found. Holy is His Name. His kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Praying He gives us our daily bread.  Praying for forgiveness of tresspasses and for those who tresspass against us.  Praying we will not be led into temptation and we will be delivered from evil. Praying that His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen.

Yes…I find that comforting.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them.”

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.
